The checker parses IFC STEP files and examines identifiers, units, spatial containment, representation availability, placements and selected door and window dimensions. Findings help identify model information that needs review.
Does it detect geometric clashes?
No. These are model data quality checks, not geometric clash detection, quantity takeoff or compliance certification. Native RVT and NWD files are not supported by this checker.
What are the model limits?
The checker accepts IFC files up to 20 MB and applies entity, element and processing-time limits. Truncation is disclosed. The parser checks do not consume AI tokens; account document allowances still apply.
